More Than Senior Portraits | A Brookstone Senior Photography Experience

A senior year worth remembering. A family worth celebrating.

Senior year is one of those milestones that seems to arrive faster than anyone expects.

For this Brookstone senior, we wanted to create something that went beyond the traditional senior portrait. Something that reflected his personality, his years at Brookstone, his love of baseball, and the family that has been part of it all.

We began with classic portraits around campus before incorporating family photographs with his parents and sister. Those images are an important part of the experience. After all, senior year isn't just a milestone for the student. It's a milestone for the entire family.

And because baseball has played such an important role in his life, we finished at the Brookstone baseball field.

The change in setting gave us an opportunity to create something completely different. Dramatic skies, intentional lighting, and a more editorial approach transformed familiar surroundings into portraits that feel more like a sports campaign than traditional senior pictures.

That's what I believe senior photography should be.

Not simply a collection of photographs taken because it's senior year, but a thoughtfully planned experience that captures the people, places, and interests that have helped shape who someone is becoming.

Years from now, these photographs will tell a much bigger story than what he looked like during his senior year.

They'll tell the story of a family, a school, a sport, and a remarkable season of life.
