We are bringing something new to the blog and [facebook] with our SeniorModels. We are calling it #SSS (Senior Style Snapshot).

Style is important to the look of your images and we want to show off the looks that our seniors put together for their senior session.  Also posts from contributing fashion bloggers.

Hannah Dryden, 2012 Senior

Hannah was one our first senior session for the class of 2012 in late spring!  Perfect day with her parents and her sister [Conner Brooke].  You can see some family images [HERE]

Hannah looks great in anything and at every location.  I love the red polka-dot shoes…and the fact that they are all Georgia fans!

Good luck this year Hannah.  I hate I missed you at the CHS Volleyball Car Wash..but your wisdom teeth are important…were important! haha

Dryden Family

If anyone knows the Drydens you know they are one of the sweetest families ever.  These are some images of 2012 Senior, Hannah, and her sister, [Conner Brooke], along with their parents,Keith and Sharman.

I think Chick-Fil-A and UGA football are already a great combination.  Hannah and Conner Brooke’s image should be hanging in the all the stores when it’s game day in Athens!

McKenzie Tate, SeniorModel 2012, musician

If I could come back as someone else in another life it would be the lead singer of a band.  I think I can sing and dance now. Sallye Anne doesn’t.

Anyway I love showing off REAL talent….like 2012 Senior Model, McKenzie.  She has been playing piano since the 3rd grade and we wanted to incorporate that into her senior session.  The problem?  There is no piano on the side of the road inside Callaway Gardens.

BUT we did find one inside the hotel at Callaway and I want to thank Travis and the entire staff for helping us get it outside for some pictures.  We moved the piano from storage through the lobby (ignoring the looks) and out to the garden and courtyard behind the hotel.

I made McKenzie play a little bit and she started to draw a crowd.  I should have put up a tip jar!

She looked beautiful and her talent is amazing.  I wanted to show off a few images from this part of her session.

“Allie’s Field of Dreams”

Allie was one of our favorite seniors from last year and a wonderful seniorModel for the class of 2011.  You can view a post on her session [HERE]

Allie’s Grandmother, Carroll Donovan, is an artist in St. Simon’s, Georgia.  She painted this from an image we shot of Allie on her session.  It was a graduation gift to Allie from her Grandmother.

Beautiful work.  Amazing to see and honored that my work was represented by this artist.  Carroll calls it “Allie’s Field of Dreams” but a lot of our seniors this year call it the “Allie Jordan Garden”.

2012 SeniorModel, Emily Self

Emily was one of our first senior sessions of the season and we are thrilled that she chose to be a [2012 Senior Model]. We photographed her and her beautiful sister, Hannah, in downtown Columbus and on their land in Alabama.  Both Mom and Dad came along and we captured some great images of the family together also.

Emily is amazing to photograph…connects with the camera instantly.  She actually participated in one of our [Senior Workshops] 

One of our students said “she looks like [Kristen Stewart]…but not as awkward”  That made me laugh.  She does remind me of her.  Both are beautiful! But the camera loves Emily’s eyes.

Thanks Emily and the Self family for a perfect start to our senior season.  We look forward to working with Emily a lot over her senior year.

One of the things that I love about shooting seniors is the cool fashion. And 2012 Senior, Caity, blew it out with her Nike’s. I loved this look and based on the emails we have gotten asking about her shoes I think a lot of other people did too! Awesome Caity!
